Q: Can you describe the contest?
A: Participants are encouraged to submit an essay or video to tell us what you are passionate about, what you enjoy doing or something that you've always wanted to explore. You could win one of our nine $500 monthly prizes, or our $5,000 grand prize to help you explore your passion. For more information, please see the official contest rules.

Q: How do I enter?
A: Go to www.prego.com anytime during the contest period (12:00:00 AM ET 8/01/07 to 11:59:59 PM ET 4/30/08), and follow the instructions provided. It's easy — just complete the registration, and click on either the essay or video buttons to submit your entry.

Q: What are the prizes?
A: Prego ® Italian Sauce will award one Grand Prize winner a check for $5,000 to help them further discover their passion! Grand Prize winner will be selected from the nine monthly winners. Nine monthly prizes of $500 will also be awarded to each monthly winner.

Q: How are the entries judged?
A: All qualified essay and video contest entries will be judged on originality (40%), sincerity and credibility of
statement (30%), and expression of theme (30%).

Q: How will I know if I am a winner?
A: Potential monthly winners will be notified by mail and/or email on or about the notification date. Click here to
view the judging schedule. The potential Grand Prize Winner will be notified on or about 5/20/08 via
overnight courier.

Q: Will I be able to find out who won?
A: Yes. The first name and last initial of the winners and their winning entry will be posted at
www.prego.com, starting on or about 9/28/07.
